Eggs! Best if not organic

I realize this is going to come as a shock to most.

Let me explain.

Just because it is labeled organic doesn’t mean it is your best option. The most nutritionally dense eggs are those that aren’t certified organic.

Your next best option is certified organic eggs as organic standards are typically better than non organic standards.

Know that organic doesn’t mean humanely raised.

And if you are empathic like me, you care about the animal’s welfare and quality of life: not only because every life matters but because we receive the energy of the animal (or animal product) we are consuming.

How an animal is raised and treated effects the nutritional value and energetic vibrancy which means it effects the consumer physically or emotionally either positively or negatively.

I often hear “eating this way is so expensive!”. True that eating correctly raised eggs is more expensive compared to what is offered out there conventionally. To that I say, not eating consciously is more expensive as the side effects of the poor quality of food will HAVE a negative impact on your health and chasing after your health ain’t cheap. It is far more costly than the upfront cost of being a conscious consumer.

Look at it this way: We have been conditioned to except cheap food as the standard.  Change your perspective. Your body will operate optimally.  You’ll notice you have more energy and vitality. Your hair and skin may look shinier and brighter. You may not be feeling as bloated. Those annoying headaches may go away. If you are allergic to eggs, you may be surprised that your body not only start tolerating eggs but starts seeing the benefits because you can now incorporate healthy eggs into your diet. Then you’ll realize there is no substitute for good food.

Here is a paradigm shift: Not everyone can afford to eat well in America, which is a shame but most of us can. Americans spend, on average, less than 10% of their income on food, down from 24% in 1947, and than the citizens of any other nation. We are sicker than ever before. Isn’t time to re prioritize where we spend our money!

Watch this video to learn more deeply about what to look for when buying eggs whether from farmer’s market or the grocery store.

If you are confused about what to buy that is safe (from GMOs, corn, soy, pesticides, herbicides) and is humanely raised,  you’d love this guide.

These are eggs that are pastured and sustainably raised. Their feed is either certified organic and/or sustainably sourced without GMOs,  Corn, Soy,  Pesticide,  and Herbicide.
